NEW BUSINESS APPLICATION AND PROCESS
Welcome to doing business within the City of Elko! If you are just starting a new business Silver Flume's New Business Checklist tool informs you of the steps necessary to get your license started. The application requires that you complete the following:
*State of Nevada Business License
*Nevada Department of Taxation
The City of Elko New Business Flow Chart will guide you through the application process. The flow chart includes the home occupation process and form. Please be sure to follow the instructions contained in the license application.
Once the application is complete and approved it will be sent to the Building Department, Planning Department, Environmental Department, & Fire Department for inspections. The inspectors will contact the name and number on the license application to schedule the inspections.
