Welcome to the City of Elko Business Licensing Department. We are so happy you are considering opening a business in Elko! Pursuant to City Code 4-1-3 it is unlawful for any persons, either directly or indirectly, to conduct or commence any business, trade, calling, profession or occupation or to use in connection therewith any vehicle, premises machine or device, in whole or in part, in the City without first procuring a business license and keeping said license in effect at all times.
